Red locations and trophy camps are not identical
The base campaign has 22 Yotei Six Camps for the relevant trophy. Other red quest locations are not all part of that set. Check the location name and displayed reward. When regional counts differ between guides, compare names rather than assuming every red marker belongs on the same checklist.

Stage 1: inspect three things outside
A spyglass discovery provides a lead that still needs visiting. A new marker should not be mistaken for complete knowledge of the enemies inside.
Our editorial suggestion is to inspect these points before taking the closest entrance.
- Sightlines: observe patrols and ranged enemies from a high or sheltered position.
- Entry: decide where you will move after dealing with the first enemy.
- Exit: find a route back toward the perimeter if surrounded. It need not be the entrance you use.

Stage 2: choose one opening approach
Start with stealth to reduce numbers, a ranged opening against a troublesome target, or a prepared melee approach according to your current equipment. These are editorial planning options, not a claim that one method gives an extra reward.
Once combat begins, do not insist on finishing the original assassination order. If attacks come from outside your view or your retreat is blocked, change position. Consider reducing the group through safe finishes rather than spreading small amounts of damage across every enemy.
Stage 3: take a final circuit
Completing a camp requires clearing its enemies, and liberation opens access to an Altar of Reflection. Remembering that you won the fight is different from confirming that you prayed at the altar.
- Check the completion notification and map state. If completion is missing, look for remaining enemies or objectives.
- Find and interact with the altar, then verify the reward on screen.
- Check missed loot and quest clues before choosing the next destination.

Keep records that prevent a wasted return
This site’s completion marks do not automatically synchronize with your game save. Mark only what you have actually confirmed. Finding the entrance alone should not mark both the location and its altar as collected.
This is a base-campaign clearing sequence. Launch-era replay restrictions may differ in later versions, so the plan assumes neither infinite resource farming nor a camp reset.
