Records stored in your browser
Completed and saved place identifiers are stored in localStorage under yotei-journal-v1; language selection uses yotei-language. These records are not automatically sent to this site’s own server or operator. Delete them using your browser’s site-data controls, or export them as JSON from My journal. Records are not shared between devices, browsers or site addresses. Import is not currently available.
Access and hosting
The public site is hosted by Netlify. To deliver and secure the service, the hosting provider may process access data such as IP addresses, requested URLs and browser information. See its policy for processing and retention details.
External fonts and videos
Fonts load from Google Fonts and video thumbnails from YouTube’s image servers. These requests may send information such as your IP address to those services. Pressing play loads an embedded player from youtube-nocookie.com. That privacy-enhanced domain does not eliminate all data processing; playback is governed by YouTube’s policies.
Contact email
Sending email transmits your sender address, message and attachments to Gmail. The operator uses them to respond to inquiries and investigate errors. Send deletion requests to the same address. Google’s policies apply to the mail service.
Advertising, analytics and changes
No advertising or visitor analytics scripts currently run. The AdSense verification meta tag and ads.txt do not execute ad requests or set cookies. A Google European regulations consent message is configured in the account but will not run here until the publisher tag is enabled. Before ad delivery starts, we will disclose use of cookies, device identifiers and IP addresses by Google and advertising partners, explain consent and withdrawal, and apply the required regional consent controls.
